A VIDEO of a football fan from Barrhead who was pranked by his friends into thinking that Scotland had scored has gone viral.

Connor Brown was preheating the oven for the half-time pies when his pals decided to stitch him up.

When he was out of the room, they started cheering loudly and shouting "Yasss", making it out that Scotland had netted the ball in the Euros game against Czech Republic on Monday afternoon.

This resulted in Connor running into the room shouting, with his hands in the air, before realising it was a joke and walking away.

But in good spirits, he shared the video to Twitter himself with the caption: "Stiched (sic) up an absolute belter."

The post has since got around 350,000 views and 24,000 likes.

One person replied: "The only person to know what it’ll feel like for Scotland to score in the euros, even if it did last for a few seconds."

Another added: "Haha the way he runs around the corner. So happy."
