Barrhead YFC U21 will look to round off an incredible first season with silverware tonight as they get set to take on Rutherglen Glencairn in the Scottish Youth FA Cup final at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie.
The newly-formed side defied the odds to book their spot in the final with an emphatic 6-2 semi-final win over Rossvale back in March.
The Scottish Youth Cup marks a remarkable third cup final for Barrhead in their maiden season with the youngsters unfortunate not to pick up winners medals as yet with a narrow losses in both the League Cup and Golden Goals Cup.

“We have had a great season for a brand new team,” Lemke told Barrhead Sport. “This is a massive match for the boys.
“We’ve been unfortunate in a couple of cup finals already, but it all comes down to this.
“We played Rutherglen a couple of weeks ago in the Golden Goals and were absolutely cruising at 2-0 up. We made two mistakes to let them back into it before losing on penalties.
“That performance gives us confidence that, while a good team, they are there for the taking. We have no fear.”
Kick-off tonight is at 7.30pm.
