WITH the new season gearing up clubs from across the junior ranks are well into their pre season preparations, with a big fixture card lined up for this weekend.
With the sun shining, clubs will be hoping to attract the fans through the gate as they introduce their new recruits and put their players through their paces.
Arthurlie will be hoping to build upon their midweek 6-0 victory over a Partick Thistle XI when they host Bathgate Thistle in a hastily arranged fixture.
'Lie have been boosted in the ranks throughout pre season and tomorrow's tie at Dunterlie will once again give fans the opportunity to see the likes of new hitman Richie Barr leading the Arthurlie forward line.
Gavin Duncan will be hoping the former Irvine Meadow striker will fire his side up the table this season and Saturday's tie provides the perfect opportunity to get Barr and his teammates match ready.
Elsewhere, Andy Whiteford's Neilston travel to face east region side Camelon.
The Farmer's Boys have enjoyed a good beginning to their pre season preparations with an 8-2 victory over amateur side Linwood Thistle.
The newly promoted side will not be treating pre season gently as they ramp up their preparations with the Sectional League Cup fast approaching.
