A BUSY motorway has came to a halt after a forklift fell from a HGV.
Drivers have been met with lengthy delays after the incident on the M74 northbound at 1.15pm today.

Lanes one and two between junction four Maryville and junction 3a Daldowie are currently closed, while lane two southbound is also shut.

Traffic Scotland has warned motorists were using the hard shoulder to get by.

It's not known if anyone has been injured, however, debris can be seen scattered across the road.
