Well-known comedian Peter Kay is returning to stages across the country and will soon entertain thousands in Glasgow when he performs his stand-up set live at the OVO Hydro.

Peter Kay, who is well-known for his stand-up sets and appearances on shows like Peter Kay's Comedy Shuffle, announced his UK tour last year.

Due to the demand for his gigs, he was forced to announce extra tour dates when he appeared on Sara Cox's BBC Radio 2 drivetime show in December.

Speaking of the support shown by fans, he said: "First of all, I want to say thanks to everyone who’s bought tickets to my tour and I really do appreciate it."

Train: The OVO Hydro has its very own train station, allowing for easy access for comedy lovers.

There are six trains per hour (around every 10 minutes) that depart from Glasgow Central Station from Platform 17 in the station's lower level.

Bus: The X19 Stagecoach stops a few minutes' walk from the OVO Hydro and runs from Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Govan to Easterhouse.
