A Barrhead engineer has been promoted to technical director designate at Persimmon Homes West Scotland.
Simon Fallon will now lead the housebuilder’s 13-strong technical team at its Garthamlock headquarters, overseeing projects across Glasgow and the wider West of Scotland region.
With more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Simon began his career in 2000 and joined Persimmon in 2015 as a design engineer.
He has since progressed through roles including senior engineer, engineering manager and technical manager before earning his newest role.

Speaking about his promotion, Simon said: "I'm delighted to take on this new role.
"Over the past decade with Persimmon I've had the opportunity to work with a great team and contribute to a number of successful developments across the region.

In his new position, Simon will be responsible for the technical delivery of housing developments across Ayrshire, Dunbartonshire, Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Renfrewshire.
