NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is making flu and Covid-19 jabs available across 20 local community clinics in Glasgow.
The health board says the vaccinations are essential for protection and reducing the risk of hospitalisation during the cold season.
The jabs are aimed at older adult care home residents, those aged 65 and over, people at clinical risk from Covid-19 who are over six months old, frontline health and social care workers, and pregnant women.
Twenty community clinics have been set up across the region, including two new sites at Paisley's Piazza Shopping Centre and Braes Shopping Centre, Glasgow.
Appointment times have been sent out by post or digitally.
These can be rearranged if the time is not suitable.
A winter vaccination drop-in bus will also be introduced to increase access to the vaccines.
This will visit areas with low vaccination rates from the week of October 21.
The bus will visit locations from 9am to 4pm each day, including Tweedie Hall, Linwood, on Monday, Tesco Shettleston on Tuesday, Gourock Swimming Pool on Wednesday, Auchanairn Community Centre on Thursday, and The Salvation Army, Golspie Street, on Friday.
Dr Emilia Crighton, director of public health for NHSGGC, said: "While it may only be the start of the colder days, winter will quickly be upon us and we are likely to see the seasonal viruses, that can be serious for our vulnerable groups, begin to climb.
"Every year, we see people visit our hospitals who are incredibly unwell due to either Covid-19 or flu.
"Taking the vaccine significantly reduces the chances of that happening."
People are encouraged to understand the serious impact of the viruses, get the annual vaccinations, reduce their risk, check on loved ones, and know their options.
