Restrictions will be in place for five days next month while resurfacing works are carried out.
Paisley Road in Barrhead is to be shut from its junction with Fereneze Grove up to and including its junction with Quarry Road.
A parking restriction will also be in place on Victoria Road and Fereneze Grove from its junction with Paisley Road eastbound for a distance of approximately 25 metres or thereby.
The restrictions will be in place for a maximum duration of five days, from Monday, October 14 to Friday, October 18, between 9am and 9pm.
The works and lane closures, however, will be carried out in a number of separate phases to limit the disruption to traffic.
All vehicles except those associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident will be subject to the restrictions.
Pedestrian access will be unaffected.
The alternative route for drivers will be as follows: Quarry Road – Fern Drive – Boylestone Road – Paisley Road and vice versa.
