A man has been arrested and charged after police received a call about someone 'sneaking around gardens and property' in East Renfrewshire.
Early in the morning on Sunday, July 7, officers were alerted about a suspicious male in Netherlee's Deanwood Avenue.

Police traced a 44 year old male matching CCTV images. He was arrested and taken to Police custody.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Police traced a 44-year-old male matching CCTV images.
"He was arrested and taken to police custody."
The man has been charged and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, police also confirmed.
