British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of man they believe may be able to assist them with an ongoing probe.

Officers are continuing to investigate an incident which took place at Thornliebank railway station at around 7.45pm on Wednesday, May 1.

They believe the male shown in the images may have information that could help them with their enquiries and are urging this individual or any members of the public who recognise him to contact police.

A spokesperson for BTP: “The male is described as having a middle-eastern appearance, mid to late twenties, short black hair (and) wearing a dark navy full tracksuit.

“The jacket has a white and light blue pattern on the chest. The bottoms have two light blue stripes down each outer side.

“He is wearing a pair of grey/brown trainers.”
