Largs Academy pupils got the rare opportunity of a visit to a top class cookery school in Verona as part of an exciting school trip recently.
Over Easter, the Health and Food Technology department went on a culinary adventure to Lake Garda.
A total of four staff and 32 students enjoyed a full on, fast paced experience that included a morning at a cookery school in Verona, glass blowing in Murano, and a tour of Venice.
There followed a day at Gardaland, an evening bowling, a visit to Lazise to sample the 'best' gelato on the Lake, and Neapolitan pizza made in a traditional pizzeria.
An amazing time was had by all, and the department is already planning a Barcelona trip for next year.
