TWO men and two teenagers are due to appear in court following a "disturbance" in the city's Southside. 

Cops were called to a report of a disturbance on Allison Street in Govanhill at around 4.20pm yesterday (April 12). 

One man was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not known. 

Police confirmed two men, aged 22 and 42 years old, and two male youths, aged 14 and 15, ahve been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. 

They are all expected to appear in court at a later date. 

It is understood the disturbance officers are treating this as a separate incident to a serious assault which caused the death of a 70-year-old man at around 11.55pm on Friday, April 12 on Victoria Road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.20pm on Friday, April 12 we were called to a report of a disturbance on Allison Street, Glasgow.

"One man was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Two men – aged 22 and 42 – and two male youths – aged 14 and 15 – were arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

"All are expected to appear at court at a later date."
