Scottish Power works prompt TWO-WEEK road closure (Image: Newsquest)
Drivers are facing a two-week road closure in Barrhead next month.
Acacia Drive will shut from its junction with Heather Avenue up to property number 23 from Wednesday, April 24 at 7am to Tuesday, May 7 at 8pm.
The closure will allow for Scottish Power utility works to be carried out on or near the road.
All vehicles will be subject to the restriction except those associated with the works and emergency service vehicles attending an incident.
As an alternative route, drivers will be able to go from Heather Avenue to Brownside Avenue, Rowanpark Drive and to Acacia Drive and vice versa.
