East Renfrewshire residents are hit with an emergency road closure that starting TODAY.
Langrig Road in Newton Mearns will be affected by the restrictions from Monday, March 25 to Friday, 29 between 8am and 6pm.
The notice has been issued to allow an emergency operation of Scottish Water ironworks repairs on or near the road.
Drivers have been warned to expect delays during the hours when work is set to take place.
People are asked to take alterative routes where possible.
