An emergency road closure is currently in place in Barrhead.
Divernia Way is shut between its junction with Hawthorn Drive up to property number 1.
The closure, which began yesterday, will be in force for a maximum of 21 days until Wednesday, March 13.
It has been imposed to allow for emergency Scottish Power utility works on or near the road.
All vehicles are restricted except those associated with the works and emergency service vehicles attending an incident.
As an alternative route drivers will be able to go from Hawthorn Road to Newton Avenue, Larchwood Terrace and Divernia Way and vice versa.
