Newton Mearns road set to be closed for FIVE days - here's why (Image: Newsquest)
A busy road in Newton Mearns is set to close for FIVE days.
Dunvegan Drive will be shut to traffic from Monday, March 11 until Friday, March 15.
The reason for the closure is to allow for East Renfrewshire Council to resurface the road.
Vehicles which are in the area when work commences will be moved.
Pedestrian access will not be affected by the works.
A diversion for road users will be in place with traffic having to travel up Broompark Drive turn right on Lochbroom Drive and then onto Sandringham Drive.
