Community groups and initiatives in an East Renfrewshire village have the opportunity to put themselves in the running to win crucial funding.
The closing date for applications for Neilston’s participatory budgeting event 2024 is midnight on Sunday, February 25.
The event is being brought to residents by the local community council with support from Linking Communities East Ren and East Renfrewshire Council.
Those who have an idea to improve the lives of people living in Neilston, are a member of a community group based in Neilston and need £500 to £2,000 to grow their group or make their idea a reality are urged to apply.
An advert for the event states: “We have funding to support local groups and initiatives which will have a positive impact on Neilston, East Renfrewshire.”
