PART of a busy road in Barrhead is set to be closed for one day this week.
Bank Street will be shut from its junction with Main Street southeast-bound for approximately 50 metres on Thursday, February 8.
It will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm to allow the safe operation of OpenReach utility works, on or near the road.
All vehicles will be unable to access the area throughout the works.
A spokesperson for East Renfrewshire Council said: "A temporary restrictions notice has been raised authorising the closure of a section of Bank Street, Barrhead, in order to facilitate the safe operation of OpenReach utility works on or near the road."
