A busy road in Newton Mearns is set to be closed for a weekend.
East Renfrewshire Council will shut off Mearns Road between its junctions with Broom Road and Laigh Road.
Works are set to begin on Friday, February 9 and run until Tuesday, February 13 with the council looking to resurface the road.

A diversion will be in place for drivers that will see them go from Mearns Road to Eaglesham Road, Ayr Road, Eastwoodmains Road and Mearns Road and vice versa.
All vehicles except emergency services who are attending an incident are restricted from entering the working area.
