Residents had a good time when Norwood Nursing Home hosted a successful fayre recently.
The event was organised by wellbeing coordinator Ellen Hume with families and staff getting involved by donating items for the raffle and tombola.
Those living at the home on Barrhead's Victoria Road and their loved ones also enjoyed some time together in the dining room, where they could choose from mulled wine, mince pies, tea, coffee, cake, hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, sandwiches and sausage rolls.
Ellen told the Barrhead News: “Thank you to Victoria stores in Barrhead for the generous discount on the cakes. They went down a treat.
“There was even a few left over that were donated to a drop-in group on the Sunday night.
“Speaking to family members on the day they said it was a good day.”
