Strictly Come Dancing fans believe they know who will win the Glitterball Trophy ahead of the series finale this weekend.

The last remaining celebrities in the show include former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach, EastEnders star Bobby Brazier and stage and screen star Layton Williams who have all worked hard to make it this far.

However, long-time fans of the programme have noted a certain thing about the finalists that may see the show become a forgone conclusion.

Fans 'reveal' who will win Strictly Come Dancing 2023

According to The Sun, fans of Strictly Come Dancing have revealed the one thing about the celebrity finalists that hints at who will win the BBC series.

Taking to the social media platform Instagram, one user said: "I don't think Layton will [win] because that's not how the viewing public works when it comes to Strictly... Ellie [Leach] is the only one not to be in the bottom 2 so my money would go on her and I actually prefer her and Vito's dances as I believe they are more enjoyable."

Another user took to X (formally known as Twitter) to add: "The only finalist to never have been in the bottom two is Ellie&Vito so hopefully they win."

One fan chimed in to say: "Ellie & Vito are the only couple this year to avoid the dance-off…. this is a running trend, just saying…."

Bookmakers seem just as confident with Coral stating that the Coronation Street star is the shortest priced in history with odds of 1-10, making her the clear favourite.

Layton Williams on the other hand has odds of 8-1 with Bobby being backed 12-1 at the time of writing.

Speaking of the recent odds ahead of the show finale this week, Coral's John Hill said: "Such is the confidence behind Ellie Leach ahead of this weekend, she is the shortest priced Strictly finalist in history.

"Should Ellie not prevail in the final, it would be the biggest upset we have seen on the dancing show."
