A residential road in East Renfrewshire is to close for more than two months in the new year.

The entire length of Woodland Crescent in Eaglesham will be shut in for a maximum of nine weeks to allow for essential carriageway and footway resurfacing works on or near the road to take place.

The anticipated dates of the closure are from Monday, January 8 until Friday, March 8.

The closure will, however, only be in force between the contractor’s working hours of 9am and 4pm.

There will be no weekend working.

All vehicles will subject to the restriction except those associated with the works and emergency service vehicles attending an incident.
