I'm a Celebrity returned to our screens tonight hosted by Geordie favourites Ant and Dec.

Together, the pair have hosted the show since it began in 2002 and have come a long since their start in Byker Grove in 1989.

The hit ITV show is a staple in the Christmas calendar, but this year, a few complaints have found themselves sneaking in amongst a reportedly declining viewership.

Since the series returned to our screens viewers have had several whines and moans at moments in the show.

Nella Rose vs Fred, former UKIP leader Nigel Farage and the incessant arguments over camp cooks (that might be settled now Fred has left).

Tonight's moan, however, was aimed at the Geordie hosts themselves.

Whilst watching boxer Tony Bellew compete in a trial, the duo's help was questioned by viewers: "Ant & Dec slowly making Tony combust, with every “No”: #ImaCeleb".

Someone else said: "Why are Ant & Dec helping so much with the trials on this series? #ImaCeleb".

Another eagle-eared person commented: "Ant calling Nick Tony will never not be funny #ImACeleb".

And finally "Ant and Dec are so childish", one person remarked.

What date does I’m A Celebrity end?

The official date for the final of I’m A Celebrity is scheduled for Sunday, December 10 on ITV.

In the live final, a winner will be crowned as the public at home vote for who they think is deserving of the crown.

Although a winner has not been named yet, Josie Gibson is currently a fan favourite to win alongside Fred Sirieix and Sam Thompson.

How did Ant and Dec make their fortune?

The Newcastle presenters got their start as actors in the CBBC kids series Byker Grove in the 1980s.

Following the show, they became pop musicians under the same names as their TV characters in the series - PJ and Duncan.

Together, they have 43 National Television Awards and 18 Bafta Television Awards across their careers.

Ant and Dec are also reported to have invested a lot in property and are thought to own houses with around £10 million combined value.

They also own a production company together called Mitre and Hurley which is a promotions firm which is named after Ant’s dog.

The pair also have their production companies, with Ant’s being called Teecourt and Dec's called Deecourt.

I'm  A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! continues on ITV1 each night at 9pm.
