A DRIVER has been fined after allegedly speeding in East Renfrewshire.
It comes after local officers carried out speed checks throughout the area on Friday, November 17.
As part of the checks, one motorist was issued a conditional offer for exceeding a 30mph speed limit on Glasgow Road in Waterfoot.
A spokesperson for East Renfrewshire Police said: "Officers from our East Renfrewshire Police local policing team have conducted speed checks throughout the East Renfrewshire Council area.
"Today, a driver has been issued a conditional offer for exceeding a 30mph speed limit on Glasgow Road, Waterfoot.
"Please remember and watch your speed."
