East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure has launched Eastwood Park Theatre’s (EPT) winter programme.

Among the events lined up are Christmas workshops, special singalongs, festive film screenings and pantomime, Beauty and the Beast.

Cinema screenings include Andre Rieu’s White Christmas on December 4, It’s a Wonderful Life on December 11 and The Royal Opera’s The Nutcracker on December 18.

The panto at the Giffnock venue, meanwhile, will run from November 24 to December 31, featuring the talented cast from Spillers Pantomimes.

The three, free festive workshops will take place at Eastwood House, starting with a lino print cards festive workshop on November 28.

This will see participants learn how to design and create their own vivid lino prints of festive designs and print them onto Christmas cards.

A marble decorations workshop will take place on December 6, with the tutor leading ceramic bauble decorating and participants creating different patterns with marbling ink.

Salt dough workshops, where you can develop, design and make your own salt decorations, will be available, too.

Free festive film screenings will also be hosted at Eastwood House with The Holiday, White Christmas, Elf, a Frozen Singalong and Die Hard all lined up for the big screen.

Those who fancy a festive singalong can join in the fun at the free holly jolly singalong workshop.

Singing tutor Ross will guide participants through some Christmas classics, which will be performed at the end of the session on December 14.

The three festive workshops are free to attend but must be booked in advance and are supported by Creative Scotland, with funding from the Scottish Government.

The free film screenings and singalong must also be booked in advance.
