A TOY appeal has been launched in Barrhead to help local families this Christmas.
St Andrew's Parish Church announced they will be collecting toys as part of The Barrhead Salvation Army Corps and Paisley Corps appeal.
The church is looking for residents to donate, if they can, new and unwrapped toys and drop them off at the venue on Sunday, November 26.
Announcing the toy appeal on social media, the church said: "The Barrhead Salvation Army Corps are joining with Paisley Corps for their annual Christmas toy Appeal.
"If anyone wishes to donate new, unwrapped toys then please bring them here to church on Sunday, November 26.
"We will then arrange for them to be dropped off with the Salvation Army for distribution to local families."
