Christmas has come early at Silverburn Shopping Centre as it welcomes a major restaurant and five new stores.
Bread Meats Bread (BMB) has now opened its doors after moving into the unit formerly occupied by Stack & Still.
The Silverburn BMB is the fourth Glasgow restaurant by the family-run business which started out ten years ago and is known for its burgers, hot dogs, and subs served alongside poutine, milkshakes, and desserts.
It joins other recent new food additions Döner Shack, The Real Greek, Stailinn Scottish Kitchen in bolstering the centre’s offering for those looking for something to eat.
David Pierotti, general manager of Silverburn, said: “We are committed to providing a best-in-class retail and leisure experience for all our guests and the recent investment and attraction of big brand names is testament to that.
“We’re proud to be the destination of choice for such exciting brands, with more to announce in the coming months.”
Along with BMB, Glasgow’s own exclusive sneaker store which specialises in Yeezys, Jordans and Dunks Empire has returned to the shopping centre following a successful pop-up last year.
What began as a reselling venture on eBay in 2016 by young entrepreneur Taylor McNeillie, has grown in line with demand for the trending branded products in the city and surrounding area.
It is back by popular demand with a new pop-up store next to Chisholm Hunter.
A further new opening, meanwhile, is “colourful, affordable and fashionable” eyewear brand Pop Specs.
With only eight UK locations including Manchester’s Trafford Centre, the brand has opened a permanent mall kiosk near JD Sports, showcasing “its sustainable yet trendy prescription and non-prescription glasses and sunglasses.”
The newest openings follow The White Company, Rituals, Sunglass Hut and White Stuff which have also strengthened the retail line-up in recent months.
Popular gadget shop, Menkind and cosmetics brand, BPerfect are also returning with their Christmas pop-up in the coming days, while pop-up Calendar Club has already launched at the site.
In further news, several existing retailers have also received a refreshed look in recent weeks, including a more modern design for luxury British fashion retailer Hobbs and an improved layout for Next.
Finally Italian restaurant, Zizzi has unveiled its new look following its refit.
“The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on, and we are confident our guests will find everything and more at Silverburn,” added David.
