A driver was taken to hospital while under arrest after a car crashed into a tree in East Renfrewshire.
The 50-year-old woman was involved in an accident on Newton Mearns' Lethington Road on Tuesday, October 17 and allegedly failed a roadside breath test.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "About 1:30 pm on 17/10/23, officers attended an accident on Lethington Road Newton Mearns, where a Vauxhall Corsa had crashed into a tree.
"The 50-year-old female driver subsequently failed the roadside breath test.
"She was taken to hospital as a precaution whilst under arrest."
