THREE Barrhead chippies have reached the finals in a major award competition.
It comes after The Scottish Fish and Chip Awards revealed this year's finalists.
Making the list for the town include Kadir's Fish and Chips in the Best Chippy West category, along with Alpino's Fish and Chips in the Best Dine in Restaurant and Best Family Business categories, and L'arco Takeaway in the Best Delivery Service and Best Family Business categories.
Meanwhile, across East Renfrewshire, several more eateries made the final shortlists for various awards.
Including CATCH Fish and Chips in Giffnock, Mario's in Giffnock, and Peter Chippie in Thornliebank.
Winners for the event will be announced at the Gala Final event on Monday, November 13, in Glasgow.
