AN East Renfrewshire road is to close for five days next week as carriageway resurfacing works are carried out.
Double Hedges Road in Neilston will be shut from its junction with Main Street up to property number 52 from Monday, September 11 to Friday, September 15.
All vehicles are subject to the restriction, except those associated with the works or emergency service vehicles attending an incident.
The alternative route outlined for drivers is Main Street to High Street, Kingston Road, Kingston Avenue and Double Hedges Road and vice versa.
It follows the announcement this week, that nearby Kirkton Road in Neilston will be shut from its access to Kirkton Mill Cottage westbound for approximately 100 metres during the same period.
This closure is to facilitate the safe operation of bridge repair works.
