EMERGENCY service crews are currently battling a blaze near Busby as residents are being urged to avoid the area.
It comes after cops have said the Carmunnock Bypass is currently closed between Busby Road and Carmunnock Road.
It is understood officers are working alongside the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to deal with an ongoing fire in the area.

A spokesperson for Greater Glasgow Police said: “We are assisting SFRS with a fire near Busby Road, Glasgow.
“Carmunnock Bypass is closed between Busby Road and Carmunnock Road.
“The public is asked to avoid the area to allow emergency services access to deal with the incident.”
