1. More than 250 children began the holidays learning about Christianity at an annual Barrhead summer club at Bourock Church.
2. Hundreds of primary school pupils put safety first at Barrhead’s biggest annual school event. For two weeks youngsters from all over East Renfrewshire made their way to Arthurlie Park for Safety in the Park.
3. Amid great anticipation, excitement and nervousness, the new first years at St Luke's took their first steps into secondary education.
4. Neilston residents took to the saddle in their droves after a dedicated bike hub opened for business at The Bank on Main Street.
5. Sporty kids worked on their netball skills at a summer camp at Barrhead Sports Centre.
6. Following an unannounced inspection by the Care Inspectorate, Age Concern Eastwood Dementia Project was awarded top marks.
