A fun-filled family event is taking place in Barrhead next month, complete with a bouncy castle and slide, face-painting and more.
Auchenback Active Limited will be holding their Annual Community Safety Free Family Fun Day on Thursday, August 10.
The event will take place from 11am to 3pm at Auchenback Resource Centre, in Aurs Drive.
Among those coming along will be organisations from across East Renfrewshire and their resources.
In a social media post, organisers said: “We have Peter Merlin the entertainer, Margaret the facepainter, Charlie's Sparkles Glitter Tatoos, mascots, Kirkwood Bouncy Castle and slide, Sense of Nature small animals.”
There will also be a police car, fire engine, Barrhead Pipe Band and bicycle maintenance.
“There will be a free raffle of Scotmid vouchers and our community cafe will be open to the public, selling food and drinks,” the post added.
“Come along to a family fun-filled day before the schools go back. There is something for everyone.”
