The celebration follows the charity’s family fun day during the bank holiday weekend last June which was held to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The weather lined up perfectly and the event proved a massive hit with locals as 5,000 people turned up to Cowan Park to enjoy the entertainment, funfair and stalls on offer.
