A BARRHEAD pub has been nominated for two major awards in this year's licensed trade industry 'Oscars.'
The Cross Stobbs is shortlisted in the Best Independent Bar and Best Sports Bar categories in the Scottish Hospitality and Entertainment Awards.
The winners will be announced during a ceremony at a Glasgow hotel on Thursday night.
Pub owner Jonathan Wengel said: "We are delighted by the nominations, which are recognition of all the hard work put in by my staff in the past year.
"We had the judges in last week and they said they were very impressed.
"I would be disappointed if we don't win something."
