A DRIVER has been issued with a fine as cops in East Renfrewshire crackdown on speeding.
Officers were conducting speed checks on Crookfur Road in Newton Mearns on Wednesday, May 10.
During the checks, several warnings were given out, while a 25-year-old woman was issued with a conditional offer for speeding.
A spokesperson for East Renfrewshire Police said: “On Wednesday, May 10, officers conducted speed checks on Crookfur Road.
“Several warnings were given, and one 25-year-old woman was issued a conditional offer for speeding.
“Speed checks are now routine in East Renfrewshire.”
