A teen has been arrested and charged after police were allegedly attacked following an incident in Neilston.
News of the arrest comes after a number of police vehicles and officers were spotted in High Street at its junction with Main Street/Neilston Road on Saturday night.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Saturday, 6 May, a 15-year-old male youth was arrested and charged in connection with breach of the peace, police assault and resist arrest following an incident on Main Street, Neilston.”
