Fast food giant, McDonald’s has slashed the prices of two popular menu items as a special bank holiday treats to customers.

The deal is available exclusively via the McDonald’s App which can be downloaded via the McDonald’s website.

McDonald’s cuts prices of popular menu items

Anyone with the app will be able to get their hands on the deals, seeing them grab the breakfast roll for nearly half the price.

The roll is layered with McDonald’s finest back bacon, the famous sausage patty, cheese and a freshly cracked free-range egg, accompanied with ketchup or brown sauce.

After 11am, customers will be able to get their hands on another fan favourite, the McChicken Sandwich at just £1.39, saving customers £2.90.

The sandwich is filled with a crispy-coated chicken, layered with fresh lettuce and sandwich sauce, and served on a soft sesame-topped bun.

Plus, customers will be able to also earn points on the deals using the My McDonald’s Reward scheme.

The scheme means every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so this week’s offers will get you 199 points when grabbing a breakfast roll and 139 points when picking up a McChicken Sandwich.

The rewards mean customers can treat themselves every time a milestone is hit, with every 1,500 points offering a menu item items including small Fries, a Hash Brown, or a Side Salad.

Whilst 2,500 points for a Double Cheeseburger or Vegetable Deluxe and 4,000 points for a choice of 6 Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac.
