A YOUTH has been arrested following a disturbance in Barrhead last night.
Cops observed the youngster riding an E-scooter on Arthurlie Street on Thursday, April 27, at around 8pm.
Police say he was then arrested following a disturbance and he was charged with several offences.
His E-scooter was also seized by officers.
We previously reported that a gang of teenagers have been bringing misery to people in Barrhead town centre.
It was reported that on Friday, April 21, a group of 10 boys and girls gathered outside Asda and caused a disturbance, during which plants were damaged.

A spokesperson for East Renfrewshire Police said: “About 8pm on Thursday, April 27, a youth was observed riding an E-scooter on Arthurlie Street Barrhead.
“He was arrested following a disturbance.
“He was charged with several offences, and the E-scooter was sized.
“E-scooters are legal to purchase but cannot be used on roads or pavements.”
