A RESIDENTIAL road in East Renfrewshire is set to be closed for one day next month.
Merryvale Avenue in Giffnock will be shut on Thursday, May 4, between its junctions with Rowanlea Drive and Birchlea Drive.
It will be closed between 9.30am and 6pm to allow the safe operations of Scottish Water Iroworks repairs on or near the road.
Parking restrictions will also be in place on the closed section of the road.
All vehicles will be unable to access the closed section of the road throughout the works, however, pedestrian access will be unaffected.
