A DRIVER has been arrested after allegedly failing a drugs wipe in Barrhead.
The 20-year-old man was stopped by police on Main Street in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
He was found to be in possession of suspected cannabis vapes and he also allegedly failed a drugs wipe.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.

A spokesperson for East Renfrewshire Police said: “In the early hours of Wednesday, April 19, proactive officers stopped a vehicle on Main Street Barrhead.
“The 20-year-old driver was found in possession of suspected cannabis vapes and failed a drugs wipe.
“He was arrested and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
