A NURSERY in Newton Mearns is set to be turned into a family centre.
Calderwood Lodge Nursery Class will change its operating model as part of East Renfrewshire Council’s ongoing work to review the availability and flexibility of nursery options available for local families.
The council say that the change to the facility will allow families to have the ability to access the service all year round, rather than just during term time.
It is planned that from August the transition towards changing the nursery into a family centre will begin, with the full implementation starting from the beginning of the 2024/25 session.
Children who are currently attending Calderwood Lodge Nursery Class will be able to continue to attend on the existing basis until they have completed their time at the nursery.
