A MAN has been arrested following a “disturbance” in Neilston.
Police were called to the Main Street, near Kirkstyle Crescent, on Saturday, April 15 at around 7.45pm to deal with the incident.
A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged.
Locals reported a large police presence in the area at the time.
He was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were called around 7.45pm on Saturday, April 15, to a report of a disturbance in the Main Street area of Neilston.
“A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, April 17, 2023.”
