McGill’s the bus operator has set out their new timetable with changes being made to some of their current services, while others have been cut completely.

Here’s a list of changes to McGill’s services across East Renfrewshire from Monday, May 1.

  • Service 3: Neilston – Barrhead – Silverburn – Shawlands – Glasgow

The number three, which runs from Neilston to Glasgow, passing through Barrhead, Silverburn, and Shawlands will see no changes on Mondays to Fridays, and Sunday services.

However, on Saturdays, journeys from Neilston to Glasgow at 7am and 8am will no longer run, with alternative journeys at 6.30am, 7.30am, and 8.20am.

  • Service 51: Auchenback – Barrhead – Paisley

This means after 6.30pm departures from Paisley will be at 6.55pm, 7.25pm, 7.50pm, 8.20pm, 8.50pm, 9.20pm, 10.20pm, and 11.20pm.

While on Saturdays the first bus from Auchenback will run around ten minutes later and the frequency of buses will be reduced by one journey per hour for most of the day. This will mean services will now run every 15 minutes between 9.30am and 5.30pm.

The evening timetable changes will be the same as Mondays to Fridays.

However, on Sundays, some early morning and evening services will no longer run.

The 7.23pm, 7.53pm, and 8.53pm services will be cut, with the first bus leaving at 8.25pm then 9.25pm, then every 30 minutes from 9.53pm.

While services running after the 5.23pm bus from Paisley to Auchenback will now run at 6.15pm, 7.15pm, 8.15pm, and 9.15pm.
