A POPULAR singer-songwriter is set to hold a concert in Barrhead next weekend.
Christian artist Ian White is set to perform at Barrhead’s St Andrew’s Parish Church on Sunday, April 23, at 7pm.
Ian, who has travelled the world performing his songs has produced more than 20 albums, with combined sales of around a quarter of a million records.
The internationally renowned artist will perform many of his most popular songs at the concert, and he will also share details on his current work with the Inspiration Orchestra.
Over the last few years, Ian has been working with disabled people to enable them to play music together.
Minister Tim Mineard of the St Andrews Parish Church recently attended an Ian White concert in Newton Mearns.
Tim said: “Ian brings a real sense of energy and enthusiasm to his playing and to sharing his amazing work with the orchestra.
“It promises to be a great night, and we would love to see the church packed out for this event.”
The concert will be free to attend with an optional collection taken up at the end to support the work of the Inspiration Orchestra.
