Police have appealed for information after an 82-year-old woman was knocked down and injured in Barrhead at the weekend.
The pensioner was crossing the road at Aurs Drive at around 2pm on Saturday when she was hit by a car.
She was later treated by paramedics at the scene.
Police said a 41-year-old man who was driving the car was questioned and a report on the incident has now been sent to the procurator fiscal.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information which can help with their investigation to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident number 1947 of March 25.
