EAST Renfrewshire Council is reducing the fee for businesses to join its Trusted Trader scheme.
The initiative is run by the council in partnership with Trading Standards to help local people choose a reliable firm when hiring a trader.
It normally costs £240 per year for a trader to sign up but, for a limited time, the council is offering a 40% discount, making the current fee £150.
