East Renfrewshire avoided further loss of life in the latest weekly figures listing Covid-19 fatalities across Scotland.
Data released by National Records of Scotland (NRS), covering the week ending March 12, shows the total number of deaths in the area since the pandemic began remains at 330.
It is the first time in five weeks that East Renfrewshire has reported no Covid fatalities.
Across Scotland as a whole, 23 of the 32 council areas had at least one fatality involving coronavirus in the latest weekly figures as the death toll rose by 62, pushing the overall total up to 16,991.
Worst hit were Aberdeenshire and Glasgow, each of which had six deaths, followed by Aberdeen, Fife and South Lanarkshire, each of which had five.
The figures released by NRS cover all fatalities where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
