East Renfrewshire Council has released drone footage showing the rapid progress being made on a multi-million pound project to create a new learning campus.
Taking to social media, the local authority posted a video featuring construction work at the Neilston Learning Campus, which is being built on land within the site of the current Neilston Primary.
Once completed, it will be the new home for Neilston Primary, St Thomas’ Primary and the Madras Family Centre.
On the social media post, the council said it has been “exciting” to see the progress being made, adding that pupils and staff have been watching with interest and “can’t wait” to move into the new hub.
The first phase of the project involves construction of the campus, which council chiefs say is on track to be completed later this year.
The second phase will start once the campus is finished and will see the current Neilston Primary and Madras Family Centre being demolished to make way for an all-weather football pitch and multi-use games area.
