East Renfrewshire Council’s employability service Work EastRen is hosting a free construction training course in Barrhead next month.
The training will last for nine days over three weeks, starting from Tuesday, March 7, and is open to residents within the local authority.
It will take place at 14 Lowndes Street and will cover a variety of topics including health and safety in the construction environment, safe manual handling, and emergency first aid at work.
On successful completion of the course, trainees will be booked on to the CITB Touch Screen Test and provided with a CSCS Green Labourers Card.
